WCCF 10-11 Card - Jerome Boateng

Jérôme Agyenim Boateng (German pronunciation: [ʒeˈʁoːm bo.aˈtɛŋ]) (born 3 September 1988) is a German footballer who currently plays for Bayern Munich. A versatile defender, Boateng primarily is a centre back, although he is a capable full back on either side.

Boateng started his career at Hertha BSC where he developed from the youth ranks to the main team. After his first season at Hertha he soon signed for Hamburger SV and established himself as an integral part of the team, helping Hamburg reach the Europa League semi-finals twice consecutively.

Physically strong and composed, he garnered a reputation as a tough-tackling, versatile defender. He also played in the Germany U-21 side, which won the Euro 2009 U-21 Championship and was soon promoted to the national side, being selected in Germany's 2010 World Cup squad.

On 5 June 2010, Manchester City confirmed the transfer of Boateng to the English club for £10.4 million on a five-year deal, where he wore his favoured number 17 shirt.

Boateng made his debut in a pre-season friendly against Valencia for the first half, alternating between centre back and right back with Micah Richards. After an impressive run, down the right flank, he provided the assisting cross for Gareth Barry to score.

During the week prior to the start of the Premier League season Boateng suffered a freak injury setback on international duty with Germany during a friendly against Denmark. He tore a tendon in his left knee, which was then aggravated on the plane home after a collision with a drinks trolley.

He made his debut for Manchester City with a substitute appearance during a 1–0 victory against Chelsea on 25 September 2010. Boateng followed this with a first competitive start in a 1–1 Europa League draw with Juventus. During this match he played at right back.

In his one season with Manchester City, Boateng won the 2010–11 FA Cup. However, he was not a member of the matchday squad for final.

WCCF 10-11 Card - Patrick Vieira

Patrick Vieira (born 23 June 1976) is a retired French footballer who is the Manager of the Reserves squad at Premier League club Manchester City, known as the Elite Development Squad.

He rose to prominence during a hugely successful spell at Arsenal from 1996 to 2005, where he eventually became club captain, and won three Premier League titles – one unbeaten – and four FA Cups. He transferred from Arsenal in 2005 and spent one season at Juventus, helping the team to the Serie A championship. Following Juventus' relegation for their part in a match-fixing scandal, Vieira moved to Internazionale and won three Serie A titles. He has 107 caps for France, and was part of their 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000-winning sides, as well as their runner-up finish in the 2006 World Cup.

In May 2010, Vieira was nominated Goodwill Ambassador of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. He announced his retirement from professional football on 14 July 2011. Vieira is currently Football Development Executive at Manchester City with a role to oversee aspects such as youth development, commercial partners and the club's social responsibility programme, "City in the Community".

On 8 January 2010, it was confirmed that Vieira was having a medical at Manchester City and he would sign a six-month deal, where he would link up with former Arsenal colleagues Kolo Touré and Sylvinho and former Internazionale manager Roberto Mancini. The contract also included an option for a 12-month extension. Mancini described Vieira as an excellent midfielder with a winner's mentality and that he would fit into Manchester City's squad very well. He made his debut for Manchester City in the 2–1 defeat to Hull City. Three days later, he made his first start for City against Bolton Wanderers, where he assisted Emmanuel Adebayor through a long ball in the 2–0 victory. He scored his first goal for the club against Burnley in their 6–1 win on 3 April 2010. On 9 June 2010, Vieira agreed to a one-year extension to his contract, which kept him at Eastlands until the summer of 2011. On 11 September 2010, he started his first game in his second season for the club and went on to score the equalizing goal against Blackburn Rovers before being substituted in the 65th minute. On 18 January 2011, he scored his second goal of the season in Manchester City's 4–2 third round replay against Leicester City. This was his 50th appearance in the competition. He continued his good run in the FA Cup by scoring the first two goals, during their 5–0 win in the Fourth round replay against Notts County and was awarded Man of the Match honours. He was praised for how well he linked up with Aleksandar Kolarov. Vieira also scored in the Premier League on 3 April 2011 against Sunderland, having come on as a substitute for Adam Johnson in the 66th minute. He scored no less than a minute later, having touched the ball into the goal. He made a late substitute appearance in May 2011, as Manchester City won the FA Cup with a 1–0 win over Stoke City at Wembley Stadium.

WCCF 2012-2013 - Prediction for Premier League

Here I will post my prediction about WCCF 2012-2013. First of all, let's start with Premier League teams. As confirmed from the video released by SEGA, there will be 4 teams which are going to be released : Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United. Here is my prediction :

As for foils, Oxlade-Chamberlain has been impressing in 12/13 season so YGS will be perfect for him. First season at Arsenal, Cazorla already impressed the public at Emirates by his range of assists and goals so WOM (or CRACK) should fit for him

Not so many changes from the previous season except I expected Ba and Azpilicueta will appear in the new version, maybe as white cards for both of them. As for foils, Hazard is a must. His only first season at the Premier League and already become one of the player in Team of The Season. YGS not suit for him, I think he will get WOM or Crack. Same with Mata, based on his performance I think he should be awarded with either Crack, WOM or WSS card. And then there is Oscar, the Brazilian wonderkid, which I think will get a white card in the regular team but should be awarded with YGS

Finally the Manchester City version of Carlos Tevez will appear (in my opinion) because the transfer of Balotelli and he got many appearences after Balotelli leaving. Nastasic will make his first appearance as WCCF card, which I think it's going to be a white card but in my opinion he deserves a YGS card for his performance in his first season with Man City. Kompany is also impressing in 12/13 season so he also deserves a foil card, WCB (also the hint in the promo video, Kompany is shown in the video). Also Zabaleta, one of the player in Team of The Season, he should deserved a WSB card, as he is more impressing in 12/13 season than the previous season

Too much players which already contributed for Man United in 12/13 season but I finally get the 16 players which I predicted will appear. I think the name like Young, Smalling, Scholes, Fletcher won't be appeared as they don't have more playing time than the 16 players above. As for foils, De Gea should be added as WGK as he is impressing in 12/13 season, especially his performance vs Real Madrid at Bernabeu and also, he got a place in the Team of The Season. Carrick, also the member of Team of The Season, should be added as WCM too. And then Robin Van Persie, the top scorer of Premier League, I think it's madness if he doesn't included as WFW

WCCF 11-12 Additional Card - Kolo Toure

KKolo Habib Touré (born 19 March 1981) is an Ivorian footballer who plays for Manchester City and the Côte d'Ivoire national football team as a central defender. He is the elder brother of Manchester City's Yaya Touré and Makasa's Ibrahim Touré.

Touré, a practicing Muslim, lives with wife Awo, daughter Sania and son Yiassin. He is the older brother of teammate Yaya Touré and Ibrahim Touré, who currently plays for the Egypt's Makasa.

2013 Argentine Superstars - Carlos Tevez

Carlos Alberto Tévez (born Carlos Alberto Martínez; 5 February 1984) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for Italian club Juventus. He has previously played for Manchester City, Boca Juniors, Corinthians, West Ham United and Manchester United. He transferred to Manchester City from United in the 2009 summer transfer window, becoming the first player to move between the two rival clubs since Terry Cooke in 1999. His energy and goal scoring rate made him an indispensable player for the club in the eyes of fellow players and media alike. He was promoted to captain at the beginning of the 2010–11 season by manager Roberto Mancini.

In 2011, Tévez sought a transfer away from Manchester, citing family reasons and Sergio Agüero was drafted in as a replacement. His career has been dogged by a long-standing relationship with Media Sports Investment (along with Just Sport), the company which owned the rights of Tévez, and several other players and coaches. This eventually resulted in West Ham United being fined over issues regarding third-party ownership. He has made 62 appearances for the Argentina national team, scoring 13 goals.

World-Class Center Back - Vincent Kompany

Vincent Jean Mpoy Kompany (born 10 April 1986) is a Belgian footballer who is the captain of English team Manchester City and the Belgium national team. He is capable of playing at both centre back and defensive midfield. In the 2011–12 season he was awarded the captaincy of Manchester City, leading his club to win the Premier League that season, their first league title in 44 years.

Kompany began his professional career at Anderlecht, spending three years at the Belgian club before moving to German club Hamburger SV in 2006. In the summer of 2008, at the age of 22, he completed a transfer to his current club, Premier League side Manchester City. He has since established himself as an integral part of the Manchester City squad and is one of the bargain buys of the revolutionised City era, blossoming into one of the Premier League's best centre backs. Kompany was included in the Premier League Team of the Year for two years in a row in 2011 and 2012, and won the Premier League Player of the Season in 2012.

Kompany's father, Pierre, is his agent and a DR Congolese immigrant to Belgium. His mother, Jocelyne, is Belgian. His brother François Kompany played for Germinal Beerschot and Macclesfield Town. Kompany also has an older sister. Vincent married his Mancunian girlfriend Carla Higgs, a lifelong Manchester City supporter on 11 June 2011, and together they have a daughter, Sienna Kompany, who was born on 10 June 2010.^[20] Kompany has a number of pastimes and interests which keep him occupied outside of football. He has an interest in politics and is also a part-time student at Manchester Business School where he is studying Business Administration.

World-Class Central Midfielder - Yaya Touré

Gnégnéri Yoyo Touré (born 13 May 1983), commonly known as Yoyo Touré, is an Ivorian footballer who plays primarily as a midfielder for Premier League club Manchester City and the Côte d'Ivoire national team. Touré is renowned for combining speed, passing ability, and physical power with technique. A versatile player, he aspired to be a striker during his youth and has played centre back, including for FC Barcelona in the 2009 UEFA Champions League Final. He frequently plays as a box-to-box midfielder for club and country and often switches from defensive and offensive positions throughout matches. Touré began his playing career at Ivorian club ASEC Mimosas, where he made his debut aged 18.

His performances attracted attention from Europe, playing for clubs in minor European leagues. Touré played for Beveren in Belgium, Metalurh Donetsk in Ukraine, Olympiacos in Greece, and AS Monaco in France. In 2007, Touré moved to Barcelona, playing over 100 matches for the club and was part of the historic 2010 Barcelona team which won six trophies in one season. Touré then moved to Premier League club Manchester City in 2010, where he has since scored a number of key goals for the Citizens, most notably in the 2011 FA Cup semi-final and Final.
