Introduction - WCCF Player Grouping

This post isn't about the custom cards, but this post is about WCCF Player Grouping

Since the very first edition of WCCF (WCCF 01 - 02) release, player grouping have been available since then and it was itended to be made as a part of the game designing itself. The point is all the players devided into 12 different groups which are group A until group L. The question is, what is the point of this player grouping ? What is the benefit while we are playing this game ?

The analogy used in this player grouping is, in a game of football, it's clear that there have to be a teamwork between the players in the field, not only one or two of them. Based on this analogy, the programmer of WCCF then made the player grouping. The point of the making is already clear, while WCCF users choose his players which will be used in his team, this player grouping factor will have an effect with how fast or slow the "link" between players will be made. The fast the "link" between players made, the better the team will be playing in overall

Below is the table of player grouping that WCCF has made

The way we read the table above is choose the players from the group that easily make a link. The fastest players grouping link are A-F; B-C; D-J; E-H; G-I; K-L and can be seen from the red face indicator
The face indicator can be read like this
1. Red face indicator, the link between the players from the respective groups (example : A-F) will be easily buikt and link automatically appeared in match 5 - 11. The link in this context is a thin  white link (thin white line). Meanwhile, the bold white link will be automatically made automatically in match 15-25
2. Yellow face indicator, a thin white line will beautomatically built in match 10-18
3. Green face indicator, a thin white line will be automatically built in match 15-25
4. Blue face indicator, the thin white line is hard to be built automatically
5. Grey face indicator, the thin white line will be never automatically built
 Warning !!!
Description above is a description with conditions as stated below
1. The word "automatic" means, as long you play with this team, from you play with the team for the first team until the game that have been passed, you don't call your two players from "communication" menu, so the point is you just don't care about the communication, which this thing is impossible to be done because all of us have to call two players from the team before we play a match, right ? What is the meaning ? It means that, if we use two players from group A-F, in match 1,  the thin white line will automatically appeared, as long as when we call the players (2 players from group A-F) from communication menu, then we answer the question from the computer correctly, the thin white link will automatically appeared and we can see it from the player partnership menu. But wait, there is another special condition. Look at point no. 2
2. The cards which are regular card (white), special card (black) or rare card (foil/shiny) doesn't have any level of special link difficulty, which means the link level = 0. The meaning is, there are some cards that have a level of special link difficulty, which the link level is minus. The example is ATLE WEAH from group C with a level link, in WCCF term "link modifier", is -2. By the way, link modifier -2, as far as I know, are the hardest link level. The meaning is, assume we are trying to have a "golden" link between WEAH (group C) and Reyes (group B - white card), there have to be much efforts (matches) to have a golden link between them. From the table above, we know that players from Group B and Group C will have a thin white link appeared in match 5-11, not easily built with a player that have a minus link modifier
With understanding these player grouping from the players that we are going to use, of course it is going to make us easily make a team with good links that can make a possitve effect with our characteristics of playing, better coordination, accurate and thoughtful passes that in the end will influence our team strength. The example is this team, which the players are all from group G-I (the players all are regular / white cards ) and we can see what the team have achieved in the end of the IC

According to my experience, the easiest level of making a link between players are white/regular cards - black/special cards as long as the grouping is correct, the next will be foil/shiny cards and the hardest will be LEGEND, ATLE or KOLE because some of those cards have negative "link modifier"

In the next post, whether it will be a custom card or the other, I'm going to list the players in each group. Hopefully I can finished Group A today. Ciao ! Enjoy this post and hope it will be useful
